Jessore Polytechnic Institute widely known as JPI is one of the most famous institutes in Bangladesh. It has more than 45 years of national reputation.
The institute started its journey in the year 1965 in the name of Jessore technical Institute. The institute was renamed into Jessore Polytechnic Institute in the year 1967. The main objective of the institute is to build up intellectual capital required for the development of Bangladesh. It functions under Board of Technical Education, Bangladesh.
Departments and Subjects
The institute provides diploma engineering education in various technologies. The departments include civil, power, electrical, computer, electronics, mechanical and telecommunication etc. it has 67 teachers who are willing to provide the best education to the students. Admission Procedure and Eligibility
The candidates have to be eligible to get admitted in the institute. According to DTE the candidates must have passed SSC or other equivalent examination with GPA-3.00 to be eligible for admission test.
The students with GPA below 3.00 in both mathematics and higher mathematics cannot apply for admission. The students must apply through the website of DTE paying TK 200 through Teletalk SMS to 16222.
The students will be admitted in the institute according to their merit position in the admission test.
