Sylhet Tourist Spots are tea garden and Mazar. It is a divisional city of Bangladesh. Earlier name was SriHatto. The city is on the banks of Surma River.
Keane Bridge
The Keane Bridge is a notable landmark of Sylhet city. This iron bridge was built in the year 1936 over the river Surma and was named after the British governor of Assam of the time, Sir Micheal Keane (b.1874-d.1937).
About Taka 56 lac had been spent to build the bridge. The bridge is 1150 feet lengths and 18 feet breadth. It is a steel truss bridge and such bridges are one of the oldest types of modern bridges.
During the liberation war in 1971, a portion of the bridge was blown off by dynamite. After the war, the bridge was repaired and opened for light vehicles. Bangladesh Railway repaired the bridge with concrete metals in 1977.

Sylhet Shahi Eidgah
Shahi Eidgah is an open prayer hall is in Sylhet 3 km to the north-east of the circuit house. The Shahi Eidgah is situated on a hillock at the south-eastern end of Sylhet city. There are twenty steps of stairs to the Shahi Eidgah. The area is surrounded by encircling wall.
The main mihrab is on the central position of Qibal wall and it is built through a half dome. The central mihrab has some other subsidiary mihrabs on either side. The wall has two octagonal corner towers with kiosk which make the structure attractive. The Eidgah has three entrances and in front of this picturesque structure, there is a tank for ablution.

It looks like a grade fort but is actually meant for Eid congregations, the two biggest Muslim festivals. More than 100,000 people can perform prayer at the same time in this Eidgah. The Mari river is coming from the great Himalayas of India, which bringing million tons of stone boulders with its tide.
Jaflong is totally a hilly area of real natural beauty where hills are greenish with the forests. Lots of wild animal lives in this forest, so you need to be careful to enter the forest alone.
The other tourist areas nearby Jaflong are Tamabil, Sripur and Jaintapur.
